Standard models

We offer multiple off-the-shelf standard models for the Squid.link 2B that fit most IoT solutions. They come with pre-selected protocols and features, but the packaging design, installation manuals, and labels can be customized to fit your brand. The standard models enable an extremely quick launch of your solution.

For high-volume solutions (MOQ 10 000), you are also able to customize the gateway to include only the modules you need and minimize costs.

Flexible solution

The Squid.link 2B supports Zigbee 3.0, Z-Wave Plus, Wireless M-Bus, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Bluetooth Classic, and WLAN HAN networks. Communication with servers and e.g. smartphones can be established via WLAN, Ethernet (to local modem), or cellular networks. You are also able to include a dual SIM card slot in the gateway giving you maximum flexibility. You are no longer dependent on one vendor but can combine your Home Area network exactly the way you prefer.

The gateway includes processor power that allows you to run your solution with top performance. The memory options leave room for data storage and logging matching the requirements of your solution. With an optional battery backup, your solution works even in cases of power loss.

Extend the functionalities of the Squid.link 2B with custom hardware options. By adding up to two external antennas, you can increase the range of your solution. If your solution requires additional flash memory, include a Micro SD card in the gateway.

The Squid.link 2B is configured when put into production. You can also design the appearance of the gateway the way you want. There are numerous design options that can be tailored according to your needs.

Secure gateway

The Squid.link 2B gives you the option to include hardware-accelerated encryption in the gateway. By opting for one of the three hardware chips, you can provide your customers with a secure IoT solution.

You are also able to include an Apple MFi chip to certify your solution with Apple giving you more opportunities to integrate devices with your solution. To include this option, the final product must be certified by Apple.

Get all products in your brand

All gateways offered by Develco Products are white label devices. This means that you can customize them to get all products in your solution in your own brand.

Depending on your order volumes, you have the possibility to adapt the packaging and/or the products themselves to match your company’s and your customers’ needs.
