Bringing your wired devices online
With the Zigbee digital IO Module, you can connect wired devices to a network, allowing your devices to communicate and receive information wirelessly.
The IO Module can be connected to a wide range of devices. For instance, the IO Module can be connected to a heat pump and activated when other appliances in the building do not require as much electricity. This reduces the strain on the electrical grid. Connected to an access system, the IO Module enables wireless control of automatic doors through a gateway.
The IO Module is also interoperable with other Zigbee devices which, for instance, allows you to connect window blinds to a Motion Sensor Mini, so the blinds close when the sensor detects bright light. The IO Module could also be connected to an electrical system that lifts up a door or window so that they open slightly when high humidity levels are detected by a Humidity Sensor or Air Quality Sensor.
Additionally, each input can also be configured as an IAS alarm to bridge wired alarm systems and sensors into the Zigbee network.
The small size of the module allows you to improve the mobility and scalability of your wired devices, as it can be fitted into a wide variety of places according to your needs. The digital IO Module is the optimal tool for keeping all your devices connected.
