Final review of the European research project SEMIAH

May 31, 2017

The European research project SEMIAH has almost reached the end. For the past three years, 12 partners from 4 different countries have worked on developing a novel Information and Communication Technology infrastructure for implementation of Demand Response in households, to enable advanced load-shifting.

On 23 to 24 of May 2017, SEMIAH hosted an open day to present the outcome of the project and went through the European Commission’s final review. The participants got the chance to experience the implementation of Demand Response in real private households, and thereby experience the devices in action. All partners presented their results and output from the research project to reviewers from the European Commission.

The project got the second highest approval from the reviewers, whom within the next 60 days will give the partners feedback on different parts of the project.
